In other news- I spent two hours tonight flipping between channels 2 and 5 (two of the eight channels we get at my house)... Biggest Loser and Live To Dance. Both of them had me bawling my eyes out. But this wasn't the first time tears came to my eyes today.

Earlier i ran to the bank in a huge rush so i wouldn't be late to my first day of classes. I wasn't in the best mood today because i slept horribly. So i finally got to the bank, ran inside, and realized i forgot my wallet. For some reason... this little thing seemed like such a huge deal. I now had to wait another day to get my books and yada yada yada. I was pissed. So like a 12 yr old... i walked to my car- head down. I drove to campus just so unhappy. As I was stopped at a red light, i glanced in my rearview mirror. In the car behind me was an elderly couple- the cute grandpa behind the wheel. it made me happy to see them both grinning and gazing into each other's eyes. And then... with her hand in his, he kissed those wrinkly fingers of hers and reestablished her gaze. Yes- the tears came. Complete Tender Mercy.

Lots of other crazy stuff happened today like- i learned what first position and a plie' are... (this is a total joke b/c i've been dancing since i could walk. But due to the fact that byu only offers THREE jazz classes in the entire university... i have to start at beginning so that i can at least take all three. i got sick of contemporary after the first semester of it so... anyway. luckily the ta is my bff kourt and the teacher is miss amanda from the vibe who will let me practically ta with kourt haha i mean hey- dancing is dancing right? oh and i will also be teaching classes this weekend sooo bueno.) The other crazy thing that happened was just random stuff in my psychology class. Today was the first day of classes and all 2 of them went pretty well. I am excited for tomorrow.

Other cool stuff- i was on the treadmill today feeling guilty about ditching devotional... and as i surfed the tv in front of me guess what came on!? the devotional! i guess i just forgot they broadcast on byutv- another tender mercy. there's nothin like running to the sweet words of pres sammy tellin us how to be the best cougars we can be ;)

and so that is that. i am naturally overwhelmed by the new semester rush, but it is very exciting at the same time. oh and kickboxing is tomorrow night- yeeessshhh.
