i was going to write about the quarter-life crisis i am currently experiencing... but instead i'll just tell you all about the fun times i had last week when i decided to turnt twenty! :)
Thursday my friend Marissa and I took the day off and headed to Lagooooonnn!!!! Oh my heck we had such a blast! It was her present to me for my birthday :) From the roller coasters and soaking wet rides to the fun people we got to hang with- it was awesome! But amongst all the awesome-ness, there was one specific event that stands out...
...so we were headed to eat dinner, but as we passed the jet star ride we decided we could fit in one last coaster. As there was some confusion with sitting arrangements (you have to have 2 people to a seat- one straddling the other), we ended up fitting 7 college-sized bodies into one little car. It was a struggle to get us going at first, but then we slowly began climbing up the spiral tracks. Very slowly. And then even more slowly. And before we knew it, we were going so slow that we came to a hault. We all started laughing and looked around to see if this was part of the ride or just a fat joke at our expense. It wasn't long before the skinny italian teenager came running up and started to try and push the car. Skinny italian vs. 7 college students. Not happenin. Long story- short: We were stuck on the ride for like 45 minutes, me sitting in the straddle of some guy i just met (he was great so it wasn't too bad haha), talking about how we just wanted to go get our dinner! it's not every day that you get stuck on a Lagoon ride. They finally let us climb out and walk down the ride after which we had to fill out paper work and sprint over to grab whatever food was left. (Which luckily there was plenty, delish dinner!) And that was my fun Lagoon experience!!
The second half of my day was spent with my Jones family! I raced from Farmington to Salt Lake to Provo all within and hour an a half! But it was totally worth it! We went to see I Am Jane at the Covey Center and WOW it was great. I seriously cried thru the whole thing... it just really reminded me what our ancestors went thru so that we c0uld enjoy such luxurious blessings! Very touching. And i love family time so basically that was perfect as well!
I heart Jette!
The girls that i love so dearly!
James has this thing... with thinking that sunglasses are too big... who knows. And that was the end of Thursday!
Friday was bday bbq day! So most of the day was spent cleaning and weeding and planting my little garden. Everything turned out perfectly and I got to be with the greatest people in the West!
*Special thanks to momma bear for making this happen!

Saturday was my actual birthday! And my amazing mom got me a GPS SYSTEM FOR MY CAR!!! WAHOOO!!!! (note: this is more of a safety pre-caution than anything. If you have ever been in the car with me, you understand.)
It was mostly a lazy day up until we went to dinner at Texas. Yummm!
That night, Niecie and tal and mahself went to see fireworks and watched No Reservations to end the awesome birthday weekend!
